Adcorp Awarded NT Government Contract

Adcorp Australia Limited announced the agency’s appointment to the Northern Territory Government advertising contract. The contract covers all facets of Northern Territory’s campaign and non‐campaign advertising activity including strategic media planning and buying, media contract rate negotiations, strategic recruitment advertising and communications, and campaign performance analysis. The contract term is for an initial three years with one extension option of two years. A significant win for Adcorp, Northern Territory is the fourth major Government contract now held by the agency alongside New South Wales, Western Australia and the Australian Government. The Northern Territory Government also provides the opportunity for Adcorp to broaden the agency’s geographical footprint with Northern Territory being the agency’s seventh mainland office. Under the stewardship of recently appointed CEO Matthew Mellor, Adcorp has undergone significant structural change in 2010, in line with market demands for easier access to the full scope of agency services. Northern Territory will fall under the remit of David Morrison in his role as Head of WA, SA and NT. David is an industry identity in the region who holds over 18 years agency experience. Based on activity from the previous 12 months, the Northern Territory Government’s annual billings are estimated at approximately $6 million, and will involve interstate and international activity. A key component of the contract is the seamless self‐management of non‐campaign advertising, to be run through Adcorp’s enterprise Connect2 Ad Management Portal. As such, the agency will have the scope to best deliver strategic campaign activity, and high‐touch client service solutions.
