HRS NSW Gold Investment

Hudson Resources Limited (Hudson) incorporated Sovereign Gold Company Limited (Sovereign) as a wholly owned subsidiary. Sovereign has signed a Heads of Agreement (HOA), whereby Sovereign will acquire two gold prospective tenements in the Rocky River-Uralla gold field, 21km southwest of Armidale, NSW. The tenements are EL 7491, currently held by Micksture Pty Ltd and EL 6483 held by Biacil Holdings Pty Ltd. Sovereign proposes to issue 10 million shares to the owners of the tenements, leaving Hudson with an 80% equity position. Hudson will fund exploration and development costs, however the project will operate independently by a team led by geologist, Michael Leu. Michael has over 30 years professional experience in exploration and mining across a range of mineral commodities within Australia and some Pacific and Asian countries. He has worked in industry (Freeport, Getty Oil, Queensland Ores), as a private consultant and for seven years on the academic staff of Macquarie University. He has particular expertise in mineral exploration for intrusion-related gold systems, which is the geological setting of the Sovereign project. Hudson will provide support through Hudson’s core competencies of technical evaluation and Asia investor networking. The directors are confident that Sovereign will be a valuable addition to the Hudson suite of investments which include Tiaro Coal (TCM) and Australian Bauxite Limited (ABZ), with a combined current market value of investment - $46 million (10/8/2010).
